I registered several domains through Yahoo?s $1.99 promotion five months back, and on the 15th March ago, I have started the process of transferring the domain from Yahoo! to Namecheap. The EPP code is easily found in your control panel. Domain has just been transferred over to Namecheap on 20th March. So Yahoo takes about five days to release the domain. The transfer process is really easy, no hiccups along the way.
